Our river trips run from April to October on the tranquil river Witham. An abundance of greenry and wildlife can be
enjoyed and passengers get a stunning view of the stump as we approach Boston. Our timetable
includes lunch and dinner cruises with food provided, as well as shorter trips and family specials.
Alternatively, private hire is popular for group bookings and is available at an hourly rate. See our current prices here: Private Hire
The sea trip is governed by the tide, allowing us to make an approximately 4.5 hour trip into the wash at high water
After locking down through the Grand Sluice it takes us an hour to reach the Wash at the confluence of the rivers Haven and Welland. On these cruises you will see Boston's historic port, fishing fleet, commercial shipping and get close to our bold colony of common seals on the banks of the river Welland.
On a clear day passengers can expect to see both the Norfolk and Lincolnshire coastlines which border the Wash.
Departure times are dependent on the tide and do vary so please allow yourself plenty of time.
The Wash is the UK's most important estuary for wildlife. The coastline has some of the best saltmarsh and mudflats in the country supporting thousands of wildfowl and waders on their migration. We work with the RSPB who charter our boat for their members and guests. More information or to join us on one of their trips visit www.rspb.org.uk/groups/southlincolnshire.
The Belle is available on Saturday mornings for children's parties. We can take up to 40 children for 1.5 hours and provide birthday balloons, juice for the kids and tea or coffee for the adults at an all inclusive price of £150.
